The Shocker Track Club Open and Masters Teams were founded to promote the sport of Track and Field for athletes competing in the Open (ages 19-29) and Masters Divisions (ages 30 and up).
Our club comprises members of all ages (19 and older). All STC Masters meets are sanctioned by USA Track and Field and open competition is arranged in five-year age groups. Individuals interested in joining either the Open or Masters Teams and planning to compete in Track Meets MUST acquire a USATF Membership ( www.usatf.org ) and assign themselves to Shocker Track Club (Club No. 28-4080). Many of our competitors participate to win, but a large number of our members compete to achieve their best for that day and to watch their improvement, performing to their maximum capacity.
