The Shocker Track Club provides volunteers to assist USATF certified officials in facilitating Wichita State University Track & Field and Cross Country, and its own, meets.
Wichita State Track and Field has teamed up with Shocker Track Club to assist in facilitating one of the State’s largest track meets, and you could also be a part of it all! If you are majoring in education, sports, or plan on working with children or athletes when you graduate, then you want this on your resume!Volunteers are needed for the KT Woodman Track Meet, April 13-16. We aren’t asking for an extraordinary amount of time. We are looking for people to work a block of time, a few hours, or a particular event. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, food, and gain firsthand experience assisting in running off a track meet. This is a great networking environment, especially if you are looking into coaching, training, or officiating. If you are interested in any of the above, please contact Darren Muci at by April 8th.
Contact us for other details on upcoming meets and volunteer opportunities.
