The Shocker Track Club Bill Butterworth Indoor Meet will be conducted with partner Friends University on Friday and Saturday, January 21-22, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas, at the Wichita State University Heskett Center. Complete details will be announced soon. Events will be held for Youth (ages 8 and under through high school seniors), collegiate athletes, Open and Elite (adults) athletes, and Masters (age 30 and up) athletes. Some events are age specific and may not be conducted for all athletes. Changes to events may occur up until the date of the competition. Entrance/Fan Fee will be determined later. Concessions are possible.
Eleven (11) athletes – all current Elite or former Youth Team members – of the Shocker Track Club competed hard and well at the Wichita State Shocker Spring Invitational! A quick run down of the participants follows –
Elite Team Members Tonya Nero (3rd 5000m), Skylar Arneson (3rd Hammer), and Dominic Artis (4th 200m) competed with excellent marks in their outdoor debuts!
Wichita State University Team members Jaleel Montgomery (1st 100m (1st), 3rd 200m , and 4×1), Kyler Meyer (7th High Jump, 8th 100H ), Audrey Bebermeyer (9th Pole Vault), Alyssa Wheeler (6th PV), Jalyn Whorton (14th LJ, 14th 100H, 10th 200m ), and Sadie Boos (Hammer 13th)(STC Youth Team Coach).

Thank you to the athletes that were able to compete in our meet. It was truly a challenge to plan and facilitate but could not have been done with out the tireless work of Friends University Track and Field, our many Officials, and an outstanding group of safety-minded and courageous athletes. A big shout-out to Gary Patton, M75, who ran 5:55.26 in the mile, breaking the American indoor record by 15 seconds!

Attention Open, Elite, and Masters Track Athletes –
Registration is now open for the 2021 Friends U*Ottawa U*Shcoker Track Club First Chance Qualifier.
Only 75 athletes in the Open (ages 19-29), Elite (Ages 19 and above), and Masters (Ages 30 and up) categories will be approved to compete. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested Open and Elite Athletes MUST contact Darren Muci at email@example.com to begin the registration process and provide their name, birthdate, email, cell phone, and events. If approved by Meet Management a link will be provided to complete the meet registration process and make payment.
Interested Masters Athletes contact contact Joe Hoover at firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the registration process and provide their name, birthdate, email, cell phone, and events. If approved by Meet Management a link will be provided to complete the meet registration process and make payment.
Entry Fees are $25 for a maximum of three (3) events.

The wait is finally over! Registration is now open for the 2019 Shocker Track Club Wichita Outdoor Masters/Open Track Meet! Block the late afternoon and early evening of Friday, September 20th for Throws Events, and all day on Saturday, September 21st for (morning) Horizontal Jumps, High Jump, Pole Vault, and a (afternoon) full slate of Running Events!

Shocker Track Club Youth Team athletes competed well over the past two weekends in excessive heat and muggy conditions in Emporia, Kansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma! Eleven (11) athletes competed in the USATF Region 9 Meet in Emporia, Kansas, while nine (9) competed in the AAU Region 16 Meet in Tulsa, Oklahoma. CONGRATULATIONS!
At the USATF Region 9 Meet, four (4) STC athletes were event/age group Champions, and nine (9) athletes overall finished in the Top 5 of their events and have qualified to compete in the USATF Junior Olympics in Sacramento, California later this month! At the AAU Region 16 Meet, one (1) STC athlete was an event/age group Champion, and six (6) athletes finished in the Top 6 of their events and have qualified to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina later this month! Results are here >> AAU Region 16 Tulsa Results
Wichita State University Track and Field will again host the Shocker Summer Series Track and Field Meets! Competitors of ALL AGES are welcome! Six (6) meets will be held on Thursday nights beginning May 30, 2019 through July 11, 2019 at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium Track. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. with competition starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. The $5 entry fee allows registrants to compete in as many events as they desire.

We are co-hosting the meet with Wichita State University Track and Field this year and need to note the following changes –
– Events for invited Junior Colleges and Small Colleges will be held during the day on Friday, February 1, 2019.

The annual Shocker Track Club Halloween Throws Pentathlon – sponsored by Shocker Fitness with Coach Bolt – returns this year with a new Halloween theme and Youth competition category! Saturday, October 20th is the date; Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium/Throwing Field is the location! The registration fee is $25 for adults and $20 for youth athletes and includes a t-shirt, lunch, beverages, and a chance to win silly fun prizes! Complete information follows!
