The Registration Packet includes a full schedule of practices from April through July held at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium Track. All athletes receive a Team T-Shirt, Team Jersey, Team Wristband, and free participation in the Shocker Summer Series Thursday Night Track Meets in June and July, with their paid registration.

The first of three Informational Meetings for Parents and Athletes interested in the Shocker Track Club Youth Team Outdoor Track and Field program will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wichita State University Track and Field Team Room at Cessna Stadium. Parking is available in the small lot between Cessna Stadium and Charles Koch Arena. Complete information about the 2018 STC Youth Outdoor Track and Field program will be provided. The Shocker Track Club Youth Outdoor program will return in April with a full slate of training programs with coaching in every event in Track and Field through July with practices at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium. All registrants will receive a Shocker Track Club Youth Team T-Shirt, Team Jersey, Team Wristband, and the ability to compete for free in the Shocker Summer Series track and field meets beginning in June.

Shocker Track Club and Optimal Performance will host a performance combine event for Youth (grades 9 through 12) track and field athletes on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Wichita Sports Forum at 2668 North Greenwich Court!
Various testing events will be held. Representatives from Wichita State University Track & Field, Friends University Track & Field, Mid American Orthopedics and Optimal Performance will be present as guest speakers.
The registration fee is $35.

Shocker Track Club Pole Vault Training begins!
Practices begin on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 630p to 830p, and will again be held at Northeast Magnet High School at 5550 Lycée (NE of 53rd Street North and Rock Road) in Bel Aire.
Practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons (swimming pool practice will also be available).
Indoor Pole Vault Coaches will be – Denis Fraizer (Wichita State University), Andrew Brown (University of Nebraska-Kearney), Jaimie Bookout (University of Kansas), Tyler Knight (Wichita State University), and Tina Clausen (Friends University).

A great season came to a close Monday with a BBQ Cookout at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium! The annual end-of-the-season meal celebrated the accomplishments of all 98 athletes, and the 11 athletes that competed at the USATF Junior Olympics in Lawrence, Kansas!
